This policy provides insurance to employers for bodily injury or death to employees from accidents or diseases arising out of employment for benefits required by State laws. It also pays for the employer's cost of defense, reasonable expenses incurred, premiums on Release or Appeal Bonds, litigation costs and interest on judgments. This coverage is mandatory in most states.
The policy also provides Employers Liability Insurance for bodily injury by accident or disease related to employment for employee injury in the course of employment that is not covered by State statutes.
